Fast Critical Experiments and Their Analysis

Initial Experimental Results from ZPR-6 Assen ly 7, The Single-Zone Demonstration Reactor Benchmark Assembly, L. G. LeSage, E. M. Bohn, J. E. Marshall, R. A. Karam, C. . Till, R. A. Leans, M, Salvatores (ANL) [Pg.307]

One of the initial objectives of the Assembly 7 experimental program was to define the nuclear characteristics [Pg.307]

The first data column of Table I specifies the experimental critical configuration of ZPR-6 Assembly 7 and gives the results of some of the central fission ratio and reactivity worth measurements. The fission ratios were ineasured Vlth thin-walled Klrn-type fission counters placed m small voids near the center of the core. The reactivity yrorths, which were measured using an axial oscillator and a calibrated autorod, are the values for the plates in the normal plate unit-cell environment. [Pg.307]
