This experiment involves more sophisticated technique and theory. 

You can see from Table 2.4 that several complexes can be described as having the same color. Further, color specification can be very subjective, especially if done without comparison. Although two complexes appear to have the same color, we see that we can distinguish them from one another by their actual wavelengths of maximum absorption. Given the information in Table 2.4, you can verify your complex identity determined from your quantitative analyses of Experiments 2.2-2.6, by visible spectroscopy.
