Erlotinib adverse effects

The most common adverse reactions in patients receiving erlotinib were diarrhea and rash. Serious interstitial lung disease also has been reported. Other adverse effects include elevated liver enzymes and bleeding, especially in patients receiving warfarin. Coadministration of CYP3A4 inhibitors is expected to increase toxicity to erlotinib. [Pg.238]

The most frequent adverse reactions to gefi-tinib are diarrhea and skin reactions. The main adverse responses to erlotinib are rash, fatigue, anorexia, diarrhea, nausea, ocular effects, infection, vomiting, and stomatitis. The EDA has referred to rare serious gastrointestinal, skin, and ocular disorders in some patients taking erlotinib. [Pg.417]
