End of the World

Your relapse prevention plan will help remind you of what to do to successfully cope with high-risk situations when you are confronted with them. What has happened over the years has been an increasing trend in the industry to globalise. This means that the effect on a market at the other end of the world can have an impact on a domestic market. What I wish for all students is some release from the clammy grip of the future. I wish them a chance to savor each segment of their education as an experience in itself and not as a grim preparation for the next step. I wish them the right to experiment, to trip and fall, to learn that defeat is as instructive as victory and is not the end of the world.

Victor entered medical school at the University of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1946 just after the end of the World War II.
