Projects are ultimately all about people, that is, your project team and those you serve. At this point in the PP process, you know the client, owner, or customer and at least some stakeholders such as environmental groups, suppliers, regulators, business associations, and political entities. Create a directory that includes all project participants. Include names, titles, contact information, and roles. Get this information in 

Element 10 Monitoring and Control Procedure - How Will We Know How We Are 

If you are the project manager, or are managing a portion of a project, you must monitor the progress of the entire project, or your portion of it. At minimum, you will 

Decide how and when you are going to monitor the performance indicators and then share the indicators and the monitoring system with the project team and possibly the client, owner, customer, and stakeholders. You communicate what is important by what you measure. As noted by Whitten (2003), inspect what you expect. So, how can you inspect and/or measure As project manager, mix and match the approaches, such as the following, to meet your needs informal one-on-one discussions, periodic accounting reports, project team meetings, and client, owner, customer, and stakeholder input.
