Drug storage

Pressure sensitive labels and tapes for the consumer markets form a very significant portion of the PSA industry. Whereas the original products were rather simple in construction and use, today s products often perform unique functions that result from more sophisticated assembly of a label or tape product. Examples of these unique functions include the monitoring of food or drug storage conditions, or the ability to monitor the charge status of a battery. 

This system includes measures and activities to control finished products, components, including water or gases that are incorporated into the product, containers and closures. It includes validation of computerised inventory control processes, drug storage, distribution controls, and records.

The proportion of the different polymorphs can be quantified if one takes into consideration the relaxation behavior of each polymorph. This property is essential, for example, in all cases where drug-storage requirements play a central role. 

While nutritional status is good in Japan, much of Asia lives on less than optimal nutrition, and it might be argued that the USA and Europe suffer from nutritional excess, with about 30% of their populations overweight. Either status has implications regarding lipophilic drug storage, metabolism, and tissue distribution.
