Double-ram press n. A press for injection or transfer molding in which two distinct systems of the same kind (hydraulic or mechanical), or of different kinds, create respectively the injection or transfer force and the clamping force.

A complete regioselectivity has also been observed63 in chlorine addition to traits,trans-l-phenyl-4-(2,6-dichlorophenyl)-l,3-butadiene (25a) leading to the addition product (26) on the more hindered double bond (equation 32). The d.v,/ram-isomer 25b reacts similarly, although in this case the higher reactivity of the cis double bond might contribute... 

In addition to this very specific acceleration that causes setback, there are several other accelerations of similar magnitude to which this discussion applies. The axial force in the direction opposite to setback has been designated as setforward. It is the forward force of inertia that is created when a projectile, missile, or bomb decelerates. Deceleration occurs on water entry and target impact. Setforward also occurs when projectiles are rammed into an automatic weapon. Present point-detonating, time, and proximity fuzes will withstand about 1000 g setforward. While weapon designers would like to double or triple the ram velocity, present fuzes cannot survive this force (Ref 8)...

The interconnect of the Samson Box was quite novel, ft was called sum memory and was implemented by parallel loading counters and then writing the result back into RAM. The connection memory acted as a double-buffered multiport memory by dividing the memory into quadrants as shown in figure 5.5.
