Dole Rule

Just as imperfections can be found in the traffic safety behavior of individual travelers so can imperfections be found in the formulation and implementation of traffic safety policy. Vehicle technology has been emphasized at the expense of nontechnological safety measures. Safety of passenger car occupants has been emphasized at the expense of other travelers. Net benefits of crashworthiness standards such as mandatory passive restraints have been exaggerated because safety gains are overestimated and some costs are ignored. The Dole Rule on passive restraints only partly satisfies the five criteria for analytical acceptability. 

The current Dole Rule on passive restraints only partly satisfies these items on the acceptability check list. 

The calculation of viscosities of electrolyte mixtures can be accomplished with the method of Andrade (see Ref. [40]) extended with the electrolyte correction by Jones-Dole [44]. First, the pure component viscosities of molecular species are determined by the three-parametric Andrade equation, which allows a mixing rule to be applied and the mixture viscosity of an electrolyte-free liquid phase to be obtained. The latter is transformed into the viscosity of the liquid phase using the electrolyte correction term of Jones and Dole [44], whereas the ionic mobility and conductivity are used as model parameters.

On the opposite, for ASS, although in theory rules similar to the unemployment insurance have always applied, the majority of its older recipients have tended to be exempted from active job search, thus resembling early retirees on the dole. From 2002, the new conservative government introduced a reform of ASS in order to limit the duration of eligibility to 2 years. However, after their defeat in the regional elections in 2004, the French government scrapped the reform.
