Voltage Divider Minimum and Maximum Voltage Gain 

We will now use PSpice to find the worst case minimum and maximum voltage gain of this circuit. Since this circuit is very simple, we will do the calculations by hand and compare the results to PSpice. 

The nominal voltage gain of this divider network is  

Now that we know what limits to expect we can set up the analysis.. Since we want to find gain, we need to set up an AC Sweep. Let us find the gain of the circuit at 1 kHz. Select PSpice and then New Simulation Profile from the Capture menus, enter a name for the profile, and then click the Create button. Select the AC Sweep/Nolse Analysis type. Fill in the parameters as shown. The AC Sweep is set up to simulate one point at 1 kHz.
