Diurethane dimethacrylate

Bisglycidylacrylate, ethoxylated bisphenol A dimethacrylate, diurethane dimethacrylate, triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate, tricycle[5.2.1.02,6]decanedimethanol diacrylate, camphorquinone, ethyl 4-(/V,/V-dimcthylamino)benzoate, diphenyl iodonium hexafluorophosphate, 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol, benzotriazole... [Pg.427]

Urethane-modified acrylates and methacrylates are known from the literature (I, 2). These monomers are high boiling and viscous enough to be suitable for solventless applications. Two interesting monomers of this type have been prepared from readily available commercial materials. Compound I is a monourethane monomethacrylate it is a liquid with a viscosity of 40 cps at 28°C. Compound II is a diurethane dimethacrylate it is a white, waxy solid that melts around 65°C. Several other monomers of this type have been examined, but these two form the basis of this work. [Pg.281]

The coating of electric wires for magnets has been described by Feit Using a similar set-up as used for the coating of optical fibers, copper wire was coated with a mixture of a urethane monomethacrylate and a diurethane dimethacrylate. At intensities of a few mW cm, drawing speeds of 2 cm s were obtained. Wires, coated with three layers of this material exhibited breakdown voltages of about 2kV. [Pg.35]

PHO with a M of 80,000 g.mof (MJMn = 2) was produced by using Pseudomonas sp Gpo 1 (CERMAV-CNRS, France). Dihydroxy-telechelic PLA (A/n = 1,700 g.mof MJMn = 1.2) was synthesized according to a literature method (5). e-caprolactone and methyl methacrylate (Aldrich) were dried over CaH2, and distilled under vacuum prior to use. Triethylaluminum (AlEts, Fluka) and dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL, Fluka) were used as received. 4,4 ,4 -triisocyanato-triphenylmethane (Desmodur RU 1.25 mol.L in dichloromethane solution) was provided by Bayer. Bisphenol A dimethacrylate (BADMA) and diurethane dimethacrylate (DUDMA) were purchased from Aldrich and used as received. AIBN (Merck) was purified by recrystallization in methanol. [Pg.141]
