Disulfiram Monoamine oxidase inhibitors

Hypersensitivity to SSRIs in combination with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOl), or within 14 days of discontinuing an MAOl administration of thioridazine with fluoxetine or within a minimum of 5 weeks after fluoxetine has been discontinued coadministration of fluvoxamine with cisapride, thioridazine or pimozide concomitant use of thioridazine with paroxetine concomitant use of pimozide with sertraline coadministration of sertraline oral concentrate and disulfiram.

Chlorazepate potentiates the CNS-depressant effects of phenothiazines, narcotics, barbiturates, alcohol, antihistamines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, general anesthetics, and antidepressants. Concomitant use with cimetidine and possibly disulfiram causes diminished hepatic metabolism of chlorazepate, which increases its plasma concentration. 

Procarbazine can cause a disulfiram-like reaction and is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Thus, ingestion of alcohol, foods containing tyramine (e.g., cheese), drugs that increase sympathetic activity, and MAOl-type antidepressants (e.g., tranylcypromine) should be avoided.

Inhibitors for nonmicrosomal enzymes are also known disulfiram, for example, inhibits alcohol and aldehyde dehydrogenase, carbidopa inhibits dopa decarboxylase, allopurinol inhibits xanthine oxidase, phenelzine inhibits monoamine oxidase.
