Ligand Influences in Copper-Dioxygen Complex-Formation and Substrate Oxidations... [Pg.654]

Hatcher, L. Q. Karlin, K. D. Ligand influences in copper-dioxygen complex-formation and substrate oxidations. Adv. Inorg. Chem. 2006, 58, 131-184. [Pg.182]

Dioxygen complex formation has been shown to provide a path for catalytic oxidation of substrates such as S02 and organic unsaturated compounds. These reactions are discussed in Section 24-A-4. [Pg.637]

LIGAND INFLUENCES IN COPPER-DIOXYGEN COMPLEX-FORMATION AND SUBSTRATE OXIDATIONS... [Pg.131]

What do we mean by oxygen activation A reasonable working definition is catalysis of the oxidation of a hydrocarbon substrate by 2 not involving a classical free radical autoxidation mechanism or direct oxidation by a metal salt. The latter stipulation is needed to exclude Wacker-type oxidation processes in which the oxygen in the product is, initially at least, derived from water. On the other hand, it should not matter whether dioxygen complex formation precedes or follows the oxidation of the substrate by an oxometal complex (see Figure 4). The former pertains to liquid and the latter to gas phase processes. [Pg.13]

Kinetics and mechanisms of dioxygen complex formation and decomposition... [Pg.48]

Transition metal diamine systems in which oxidative ligand dehydrogenation occurs through dioxygen complex formation... [Pg.335]
