DICYCLOHEXYL BENZOTHIAZOLE

Af,Af-dicyclohexyl-benzothiazole-sulfenamide (DCBS), cobalt naphthenate, and diaryl-p-diphenylene-amine (each 1 phr). [Pg.256]

An examination is made of the performance of dicyclohexyl benzothiazole sulphenamide (DCBS) as an accelerator in tyre compounds. Cure characteristics, adhesion and flow properties are discussed, and it is shown that DCBS does not form carcinogenic N-nitrosamines. 8 refs. [Pg.128]

However, a truly general method for electron-rich heterocycle arylation was not reported until 2007 [38], Electron-rich, bulky butyl-di-l-adamantylphosphine or /er/-buty I dicyclohexyl phosphine in combination with Pd(OAc)2 afforded the best results, and the former was chosen because of cost considerations. Interestingly, electron-rich AMieterocyclic carbene ligands that facilitate oxidative addition of aryl chlorides to low-valent transition metals are inefficient in heterocycle arylation. A number of structurally diverse electron-rich heterocycles are reactive (Scheme 3). Thiophene, benzothiophene, 1,2- and 1,3-oxazole derivatives, benzofuran, thiazoles, benzothiazole, 1-alkylimidazoles, 1-alky 1-1,2,4-triazoles, and caffeine can be arylated. Electron-rich, electron-poor, and heteroaryl chlorides can be used. [Pg.60]

Hilton and Altenau and Hayes and Altenau used mass spectrometry to qualitatively identify volatile antioxidants in sheet samples of synthetic styrene-butadiene rubbers and rubber type vulcanizates. They extracted the polymer with acetone in a Sohxlet apparatus, removed excess solvent and dissolved the residue in benzene. Substances identified and determined by this procedure include N-phenyl-fi-napthylamine, 6-dodecyl-2,2,4-trimethyl 1,2-dihydroquinolines, trisnonyl-phenyl-phosphite, isobutylene - bisphenol A reaction product, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole sulphen-amide (accelerator) N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulphenamide, N-tert-butyl-2-benzo-thiazole sulphenamide, 2-(4-morpolinothio) benzothiazole, 2-(2,6-dimethyl-morphal-inothio) benzothiazole, N,N -diisopropyl 2-benzothiazoles, 2-mercaptobenzo-thiazole and N,N -dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulphamide. [Pg.71]
