Diallyl ether dioxide

DIALLYL ETHER DIOXIDE (2238-07-5) Forms explosive mixture with air (flash point 55°F/12°C). A strong reducing agent. Violent reaction with strong oxidizers, permanganates, peroxides, ammonium persulfate, bromine dioxide, sulfuric acid, nitric acid. May form unstable peroxides upon contact with air and exposure to light. Attacks some forms of plastics, coatings, and rubber. [Pg.382]

SYNONYMS bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)ether, dge, diallyl ether dioxide, di(2,3-epoxypropyl)ether, 2-epoxypropyl ether, 2,2 -(oxybis(methylene))bis-oxirane. [Pg.567]

Synonyms/Trade Names Diallyl ether dioxide DGE Di(2,3-epoxypropyl) ether 2-Epoxypropyl ether bis(2,3-Epoxypropyl) ether ... [Pg.109]

The radical polymerization of diallyl ether with sulfur dioxide produced soluble copolymers whose composition was between 1 1 and 2 1 on SO2. Formation of rings made of diallyl ether and SO2 and 3,4-disubstituted tetra-hydrofuran rings by the cyclized diallyl ether units was proposed on the basis of H NMR data [61k]. [Pg.41]
