Derivative Formation. Hydrogen peroxide is an important reagent in the manufacture of organic peroxides, including tert-huty hydroperoxide, benzoyl peroxide, peroxyacetic acid, esters such as tert-huty peroxyacetate, and ketone derivatives such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide.
