Cortex Acanthopanacis Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim). Maxim. 

Cortex Acanthopanacis, Ciwujia in Chinese, is the root bark of Acanthopanax senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim.) Maxim. (Araliaceae). According to Chinese Medicine, the properties and taste of this drug are pungent, bitter and warm. The drug enters the liver and kidney meridians , dispels wind and dampness, strengthens the tendons and bone, and improves urination [7].

For thirty natural resources, total extracts are obtained by both the SFE at 45C and 30 MPa and the LSE by n-hexane, chloroform and methanol, respectively. For all the extracts, five types of bioassays were performed and the qualitative results are summarized in Table 1.
