Confirmation unconditional

The Newmark s p method (linear stiffness integration method) is also applied to take account of the non-linear part of the whole structure. If the linear stiffiiess is much larger than the non-linear stiffness, the integration method is unconditionally stable. In this work, the equations were transformed into an incremental form. It was confirmed that even when the incremental form of the equations is applied, the condition where the linear stiffness is larger than the non-linear tangent stiffness ensures that the integration method gives a stable solution. [Pg.344]

Finally, the order to the subcontractor should also include the reference regarding the submission of an unconditional order confirmation. [Pg.108]

The figures below present the residual reliability of a reusable component B, understood as the conditional reliability of the reused element during the next warranty period. Figures 3 and 4 depict two cases characteristic for the all research results the unconditional expected age of the reused element is more adequate to predict reliability of product containing old elements. The fact has been confirmed for constant failure rate of product components, independently on their MTTF or the warranty length (Fig. 3). The conditional expected age of a return (eq. 9) is better to use (Fig. 4, TW < 150) when one wants to predict the residual reliability of the mixed product comprised of elements under the two conditions ... [Pg.1246]
