The topic of education in green chemistry was discussed at the XVIII (2007) and XIX (2011) Mendeleev Congresses on General and Applied Chemistry. The satellite symposium Green Chemistry, Sustainable Development and 

Social Responsibility of Chemists of the XVIII Mendeleev Congress headed by N. Tarasova and V. Lunin attracted 100 Russian and more than 20 foreign specialists. The plenary reports were presented by Prof. V. Petrosian (MSU), The Ethics of Chemistry Teaching in 21st Century, and by V. Kuznetsov (MUCTR), The Knowledge in Environmental Chemistry as a Factor for Social Responsibility Increase. 

The lecture about the possibilities of supercritical technologies became traditional at jubilee and annual scientific conferences in Nignekamsk Branch of Kazan National Research Technical University, and is provided sometimes in the Volgsky Branch. 

In 2010 and 2012 All-Russian School-Conference of Young Scientists Supercritical Fluid Technologies in the Decision of Environmental Problems. Plants Biomass Extraction was held on the base of North (Arctic) Federal University. Taking into account the major local directions of scientific work, the scope of the School-Conference included sueh issues as the properties of supercritieal fluids, ScF extraction of plant biomass, chemical and biological processes in ScF media, ScF chromatography in analysis and separation of natural extracts.
