Total conductivity

The philosophy of any EMI shield is to encourage eddy currents to flow within the surfaces, thus dissipating the noise energy. Also, the assembled enclosure should act as a gaussian enclosure where there is good electrical conduction totally around the enclosure. So removable hatches and enclosure members need very good electrical connections around their peripheries. RF gasketing is sometimes used in particularly troublesome cases. 

The ordination of 23 taxa or groups of taxa in relation to the environmental predictors was examined by means of multivariate analyses. Nutrients (nitrates, total phosphate, and ammonia), conductivity, total suspended solids and water flow were retained by the redundancy analysis (RDA) (Fig. 4). The first RDA axis (RDA1 16.6% of the variance) showed a strong correlation between nutrients and suspended solids and (negatively) water flow. Though losing at least 90% of colour after chemical treatment, the textile wastewater thus acquire, due to high dosage of coagulants, more conductivity, total hardness, irone content and alkalinity, and they are not suited for recycling also because their organic pollution, expressed in terms of COD (Cr), is reduced only about 40%.

The needle valve in the reject line is throttled to obtain a suitable pressure in the range of 7 to 25 bar. The initial permeate was recycled until a steady permeate flux was obtained. The reject was partially circulated back to the feed tank through the heat exchanger. The flow rates of the two streams such as permeate and reject streams were measured at regular time intervals using the rotameters. The conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS) and flux values of feed and permeate were recorded as a function of time until the desired water recovery was achieved.
