There are available compendia that present an enormous amount of information on experimental methods for studying the kinetics of chemical reactions. One such source is Bemasconi, Editor (1986), Investigations of Rates and Mechanisms of Reactions, which contains two parts of the series Techniques of Chemistry (Weissberger. Series Editor) that presents discussions on all phases of kinetics theory and techniques. Part I, General Considerations and Reactions at Conventional Rates, would be especially valuable for a study of kinetic methods. Part II, Investigation of Elementary Reaction Steps in Solution and Fast Reaction Techniques, deals with additional aspects of solution kinetics. These reference works should be consulted for extensive discussions of kinetic methods.
