Column coupling capillary isotachoelectrophoresis and isotachelectrophoresis

This technique offers very similar advantages to ion chromatography in the determination of anions in water, namely multipleion analysis, little or no sample pretreatment, speed, sensitivity and automation. 

Barth [7] used capillary isotachoelectrophoresis for the quantitative determination of volatile organic acids in waters associated with oilbearing geological formations. The detection limit was 0.02M.
