Colors of paintings

This is a pigment based on a thiazine indigo structure, of which no detailed composition has been disclosed. The orange pigment is recommended to be used for the coloration of paints and plastics, especially for the mass coloration of polyethylene. 

Several small sturdy cups, one for each color of paint you make (glass, ceramic, or heavy plastic cups work best)... 

A procedure for visual comparison of the color of paints is given in ISO 3668 [41]. The simple basis is that an observer compares the test panel with standard color samples, but to achieve reproducible results the illuminant and viewing conditions have to be carefully controlled and the observer carefully selected, as detailed in the standard.

There are many other examples of assembly postponement. The salad bar at a restaurant is a classic example of making the customer assemble their desired salad on demand. Hardware stores claim to carry over 30,000 colors of paint. But in most cases they carry only a small number of primary colors and additives and create the color on demand with the aid of software. Such assembly postponement permits lowering of supply chain costs while maintaining customer choice. 

You therefore should test spots on each of the different components in each room, from each different type of surface and from each color of paint. If all of the walls appear to be the... 

Three readings should be taken for each type of component, type of surface, and color of paint in each room (or equivalent, such as hallway, or exterior area of the home). Although the standard practice has been to do the same tests at the exact same spot, recent EPA tests conclude that it is better to take the three readings at different spots on the same component (at the top, side, and bottom of a window frame, for example). 

These values are usually transformed into a color system that is easier to relate to conceptually. L,a,b color systems space opaque reflective colors of paints, papers, and textiles like a standard observer would when he or she compares colors of these objects. Note that the L,a,b, values are derived from the X,Y,Z values, which vary with observer and illuminant (Fig. 13)... 

ADD DETAIL. Marble also frequently includes colored mineral intrusions. Using your best artistic sense, add these intrusions by dabbing on your fourth color of paint with a sea sponge and then feather the edges into the background with a dry brush. 

Consider a paint retailer that sells 100 different colors of paint. Assume that weekly demand for each color is independent and is normally distributed with a mean of 30 and a standard deviation of 10. The replenishment lead time from the paint factory is two weeks and the retailer...
