Velcro closures

The seven-bladed propeller structure of the coronin family contains only five clearly identifiable WD repeats. These WD repeats are found between positions 79 and 305 in the murine coronin 1 (coronin lA). The first and last blades, 37-71 and 306-352 are either very highly modified WD repeats or were derived from a different source. While it is possible that five WD repeats were inserted into some pre-existing beta domain, this seems a bit unlikely given the standard Velcro-type propeller closure is employed. In addition the strand order in these two non WD repeats is the same as that in the five WD repeats. It is clear that the sequences of these two non WD repeats are by themselves diagnostic of the coronin family. 

It is recommended that children s upper outerwear have alternative closures, such as snaps, buttons. Velcro, and elastic. 

On the right-hand side of the belt the hook-and-loop fastener is inserted to close the medical back belt. Velcro closures are frequently used in orthopaedic devices because they can be employed very easily. Most of the orthopaedic devices have to be custom-made because they have to ht very precisely. With a Velcro closure the medical back belt can be closed individually, and only general sizes like s, m, 1, xl and xxl have to be produced. Zippers are nothing short of miraculous when they function properly. When they jam or break in public, however, our love affair generally cools. But don t default to snaps. Velcro, or hook-and-eye closures simply because you re intimidated by zippers. It s not rocket science. It just takes a little practice. For your first-time zipper projects, try to choose a zipper with a slider on the smallish side. They re easier to deal with because they re less bulky. Also, do your best to match the length of the zipper with the length of the opening in your project.
