Though library construction and use already are efficient and reproducible, modifications can be expected further to simplify construction and use of chromosome jumping libraries, some of which have been described before (14). One area of possible improvements concerns the substitution of a physical selection of junction fragments for the genetic selection protocol used in current library constructions.
