Strategic choices, evaluating

The selection of a simulation system is a strategic decision for an organisation. It implies a medium/long term co-ordination policy, both in hardware platforms and in scientific software, as well as in the training of personnel, compatibility with third parties environment, etc. The procedure described below may be applied for a low-risk choice of any scientific software. The evaluation procedure takes the form of a questionnaire, as given hereafter. 

Site selection is the next logical step after the strategic distribution network planning, which analyzes the company s distribution network and develops facilities requirements and customer service requirements based on the warehouse strategic master plan. Site selection is the microanalysis of the company s needs, and through the use of a structured approach, where criteria are identified, sourced, quantified, weighted, and evaluated, it enables the company to see what the best choice is for expansion or relocation. 

This observation created a solid basis for the evaluation of the STaz glycosides in orthogonal glycosylations in combination with S-ethyl glycosides. The sohd-state NMR analysis of paramagnetic powders features in particular strategic applications for the understanding of solid-state reactions, and can strongly contribute to the development of nano-scale and surface chemistry. The ability to evaluate hyperfine shifts in paramagnetic complexes can help explain how the high reactivity of some systems and the lack of expected reactivity of others can be tuned by the choice of the solid support.
