Chlorocholine chloride (CCC) and Amo 1618 block the synthesis of gib-berellins and thus inhibit growth. Cereals treated with CCC have shorter internodes and thus are more robust. With Amo 1618 one can produce chrysanthemums with short stalks, for example. In several cases flower formation can be accelerated by CCC and Amo 1618. [Pg.213]
