The kit contains a detailed incident report form. The kit instructions are signed and dated by the sampler as a true and accurate record of the process, and are designed to be retained by the sampler as contemporaneous notes for use in court. The kit is suitable for both destructive and nondestructive testing, and can also be used for sampling suspects in cases involving the theft of metals. [Pg.250]

In previous papers, we reported surfactant adsorption onto hydrotalcite-like compounds, i.e. Mg-AI-C03-LDHs [10, 11]. We showed that LDH efficiency in removing anionic surfactant from aqueous solution by adsorption was greater than that of alumina. We also showed that it is possible to use LDH in the calcined form to remove surfactants from aqueous solution, which in turn involves two processes, intercalation by regeneration of the LDH structure and adsorption on the regenerated material. The whole surfactant removal process is designed in this case as sorption. These results emphasised the recyclability of LDHs and their potential use as surfactant removers. [Pg.444]

Process Intensification provides a new incentive in the assessment of chemical processes. In this report a gas-liquid reaction forms the basis of a comparison between conventional and novel reactor concepts. The considered reaction can be applied in all of the described reactor concepts, in some cases however a process modification is needed. For the application of Process Intensification a good insight is required for both the reaction as well as the tools (reactor systems) in which the reaction is being applied. Regarding the novel reactor concepts however design data are scarce, which induces uncertainties to come to a correct validation of the potentials. [Pg.37]
