Cargo baskets

Use a netted baggage area or cargo basket for personal belongings. Personal belongings such as computers, tools, and papers should not be put on the floor of the personnel basket because, if the load falls off, the person riding the basket will not be tempted to reach out and grab it. 

Cargo baskets are used to transfer equipment and supplies between service boats and offshore facilities. Guidance is provided in Design and Handling of Cargo Baskets published by the Step Change in Safety organization, the Table of Contents for which is shown in Table 15.2.

How many grams of cargo (including the mass of the balloon material, the basket, and occupants of the basket) would this balloon be able to lift while remaining afloat ... 

The mass of the cold air, Ti = 10°C = 283.2 K, inside the balloon is 3,814 kg. Since the balloon is surrounded by the air of same temperature and density, the buoyancy of the air inside the balloon is zero and, given only the air, the balloon could move left or right, but not lift. But what keeps it grounded is the 678 kg of the cargo mass. The balloon, with the basket and passengers, will be able to start lifting off when the buoyancy of the air inside the balloon equals the cargo mass, mo = 678 kg. Let us call this the second mass, m2 ... 

Sulphur, as mined, contains only veiy small amounts of ash, usually less than 0.01%. Sulphur "ash" content can rise to 0.3% or more during or after shipment, llie impurities introduce in transit and at plant-site storage consists of wood splinters, rust scale, tramp iron, fly ash, sand, dirt, dust and ores remaining from cargoes previously carried in transportation. The two basket filters (one in stand-by position) for molten sulphur, inserted between molten sulphur tank and metering pump, contain a filtering element made up of a stainless steel net.
