Cancel button

Across the top there is a menu bar with the usual Windows-type pull-down menus arranged from left to right in the order Files, Data Selection, Data Manipulation, Extras/Options, Output, or similar. Those options that are allowed or make sense in a given context are activated. Requests for numerical input make use of the standard Windows-type gray box with the question that is to be answered, the white area into which the data is written, and the appropriate confirmatory Yes/No/Cancel buttons. 

Thus, when we change the model (Implementation property), the change will not be displayed on the screen. Click the Cancel button to return to the spreadsheet. 

If you don t want to take advantage of these options from the Office Assistant, click on the Cancel button in the dialogue bubble that appears near the paper-clip character.

To cancel the entry and revert to the original contents of the cell, press the Cancel button or the ESC key. 

Don t forget to press the Cancel button in the formula bar or use Undo before continuing, to revert back to the original formula. 

MsgBox returns a value that indicates which button was pressed. This allows you to take different actions depending on whether the user pressed the Yes, No or Cancel buttons, for example. To get the return value of the Message Box, use an expression like... 

If the user presses the OK button or the RETURN key, the InputBox function returns as a value whatever is in the text box. If the Cancel button is pressed, the function returns a null string. The following example produces the input box shown in Figure 14-17. 

From this point in the setup process on, the Setup screens will have a Back button and a Cancel button. You click the Back button to go back to the preceding screen, and click the Cancel button to completely exit the installation. If you exit the installation before it s completely finished, Setup will restore your system to its former state. 

Evaluators should particularly be on the lookout for defects which might have only been spotted once but could affect large parts of the system. For example, suppose a tester notes that the Okay and Cancel buttons are too small to be used on a mobile platform, this single conunent could represent an endemic problem across the entire solution and should be prioritised accordingly. 

The Cancel button is used to cancel the execution. Once the Cancel button is pressed, the program will be transferred to the main menu for further calculation options.
