Canadian Food Inspection Agency CFIA

In May 1997 a completely reorganized system of food control in Canada went into effect with the creation of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Some tasks are now assumed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The CFIA was established in 1997 and broadly does the function of the USDA s FSIS (see above).
