Bridging ligands arsenic

The preparation of similar precursors suitable for the deposition of metal nitrides is analogous to the preparations of phosphorus and arsenic compounds. The initial reaction of metal trialkyls MR3 (M = A1, Ga, In) with amines (NHR 2) results in the formation of oligomeric amido compounds [R2MNR 2] (n = 2 or 3) which eliminate alkanes on thermolysis. The incorporation of a proton as a substituent on the pnictide bridging ligand has been examined, and many compounds of the type [R2MNHR ]2 have been synthesized. The presence of this proton may facilitate /3-elimination, allowing lower deposition temperatures to be used. [Pg.1038]

A connectivity of 1 is given for side chain metal-containing polymers as 1 in which the metal complex is connected via one bond to the main chain [11]. Additional examples for other connectivities are (Fig. 1-8) connectivity 2 in metal(yne)s 2 [12] connectivity 3 in arsenic(III) sulfide 3 connectivity 4 in a polymeric methyl rhenium oxide of the formula Ho.5[(CH3)o.92Re03] co 4 [13] or polymeric phthalocyanines 5 [14] connectivity 8 in lanthanide complexes of bis(tetradendate) Schiff base bridging ligands 6 [15]. [Pg.10]

A typical structure of these so called triple-decker sandwich complexes is that of the complex [(p3)Ni -(j)3-P3) Ni(p3)](BPh4)2-2.5Me2CO (73). In each complex the trihapto P3 (or trihapto As3) groups form a bridge between the two Ni(p3) residues.292 Each nickel atom is thus six-coordinated by three phosphorus atoms from the ligand p3 and by three phosphorus atoms from the cyclo-P3 (or arsenic atoms from the cyclo-As ), which acts as a three-electron-donor ligand. [Pg.35]
