Bible Psalms

The word golem appears only once in the Bible (Psalms 139 16), where it refers to an imperfect or unformed body. The New International Version translates the verse as Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. In Hebrew, golem signifies a shapeless mass, and the Talmud uses the word to imply imperfect. ... 

People have been drinking wine ever since, perhaps enconraged by the longevity of Noah, who lived to be 930. The 15th verse of Psalm 104 notes And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, At the same, in several places the Bible cantions ns to avoid overindulgence. That seems like very good advice. 

The Penitential Psalms have particular virtues which we indicate below. We use the psalm number given in the Latin Bible (Catholic) first, and the number given in Protestant and Jewish Bibles in parentheses. 

Psalm 137 is Psalm 138 in the King James Bible. The Roman Catholic Bible numbering differs form Protestant and Jewish numbering. The words O Lord are not in the original -1 will use the KJV numbering and wording for all Psalms here - PV. 

Psalm 18 (19) - "Coeli enarrant gloriam Dei, et opera...". Linked to the virtue of Wisdom. We would add the reading of verses 1 to 12 of Chapter IX of the Book of Wisdom, found in Latin or Protestant bibles. Begin the novena on the Sunday of Pentecost. Angel ChokmaeLVedumt pure Frankincense.

Roberts, Of Signs, Prophets, and Time Limits A Note on Psalm 74 9, CBq 39 (1977) 474-81 (= 274-81 in Roberts s The Bible and the Ancient Near East Collected Essays [Winona Lake Eisenbrauns, 2002]). Roberts (474) interprets Kraus in particular as advocating this interpretation ( die Offenbarungszeichen dutch die Jahwe sein Einschreiten ankiindigt, Kraus, Psalmen 2,680).
