Joint OSHA/EPA investigations of past accidents in tolling operations include recommendations that emphasize the importance of communication between the toller and the client. The primary ways recommended to prevent recurrence of similar events focus on a joint understanding of the basic tenets of process safety elements. 

A basic tenet of risk communication is that people have a right to participate in decisions that affect their lives. The goal of risk communication should be to inform the community about the risks and potential health effects of your activities and to involve the public in developing solutions to any related problems. 

Frontier orbital theory also provides the basic framework for analysis of the effect that the symmetiy of orbitals has upon reactivity. The applications of the basic tenets in macromolecular science discussed here have been concerned with certain physical properties. Molecular phylogeny is a discipline that studies species differences between DNA or protein sequences. The basic tenet of continuum fracture mechanics is,- therefore, that the strength of most real solids is governed by the presence of flaws and, since the various theories enable the manner in which the flaws propagate under stress to be analysed mathematically, the application of fracture mechanics to crack growth in polymers has received considerable attention. To estimate energy-dependent speed of light unambigously, we need to reanalyze the data with more rigirous statistical techniques, and more refined experiments are also needed to make any conclusive progress.
