Basic Links to Layout Commands

The information written out by the Floorplanner is read into DC. Then, one must perform static timing analysis and if necessary to re-optimize the design. Listed below are the basic commands that help transfer of information to and from DC. 

Used to read/write PDEF To read/write SDF 

To write timing constraint information in SDF for timing driven floorplanning and P R. 

Used to create custom wire-load models after back-aimotation of estimated loads.
