There are various types of industrial robots and handling systems with rotational and/or linear motion [1]. 

Handling systems may also control several plastics molding machines at the same time. Some machines can be interconnected in parallel direction for inlays, quality check, assembly and packaging. Other machines are connected in line in respect to operations.
