Arthroscopically assisted ACL reconstruction has been widely used for patients with anterior knee laxity, and good clinical results have been obtained following advances in arthroscopic surgery. The bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) autograft has become an established procedure in ACL reconstruction, while a hamstring tendon graft has also been used as an alternative to the BPTB.
