ATR Reactor Setup Operating Conditions

In order to set up the ATR reactor, a commercial pelletized catalyst, 0.3%Pt/Al2O3 (Engelhard), was used. 

The catalytic activity tests were carried out under different operating conditions, by changing the GHSV and the feed ratios 02 CH4 and H20 CH4 over the ranges of values 0.59 02 CH4 1.36, 0 H20 CH4 1.33 and 10000h GHSV 24400h  

In the following, the 02 CH4 and H20 CH4 feed ratios will be denoted x and y, respectively. The value of GHSV is calculated as the ratio between the total gas volume flow rate (STP) and the catalyst bed volume, and the percentage conversion of methane is calculated as
