Electrophysiological studies often demonstrate multiple, asymmetric mononeuropathies, usually axonal in type, that cannot be localized to typical sites of entrapment (Keswani et al. 2002). CSF analysis reveals nonspecific abnormalities, such as elevated protein and mild mononuclear pleocytosis.
