Example 2. Vinviidene Chloride Isobutylene Copolymer. The next example is for the carbon-13 spectrum of copolymer vinylidene chloride isobutylene. Figure 5 shows the full spectrum and the peak assignment listing for the non-protonated vinylidene chloride carbon in the 84-92 ppm range. Triad assignments were made (Crowther, M. W., 1987, Syracuse University, unpublished data) using the two-dimensional COLOC (20) experiment. There are ten v-centered pentads representing different environments for the vinylidene chloride carbon. The i represents the non-protonated carbon in the isobutylene polymer unit. [Pg.166]

The assignment list (Table 11.1) includes lots of other information that will be discussed as we come to the other correlation spectra. Carbon shifts come initially from the HSQC but are then replaced by the more accurate values from the ID 13C spectrum. Multiplicity, where indicated other than m (multiplet) or s (singlet), comes from ID slices of the HSQC peaks along F2, so it only picks up the large (>4 Hz) couplings. The only exceptions are the olefinic protons and h8a and h6a, which are resolved in the ID XH spectrum (Fig. 11.54). [Pg.543]

Certainly, determination of the composition of vectors x and y is also connected with solution of a series of complex problems. Appreciable errors in calculations can be caused by the incomplete list of the vector x components. If the modeled system has a gas phase, theoretically this list can reach astronomic sizes, since in this case xeq is an interior point of the polyhedron of the material balance2, which in a general case implies a complete set of substances formed from the elements of components y. Composition and sizes of the assigned list determine the possibility for revealing superequilibrium contents of the sought set of substances, which is shown in (Gorban, 1984). [Pg.49]

The UV-visible spectra of a number of divalent group IV alkyls and amides have been collected (68, 72) however, the electronic transitions responsible for these bands have not yet been assigned. Listed in Table III are some qualitative observations on the color of the divalent alkyls M[CH(SiMe3 )2 k. [Pg.140]

Laser-ablated magnesium atoms react with MeOH to form matrix-trapped Mg(MeOH), with the assignments listed in Table 9.391 IR photodissociation spectra of gaseous Mg(MeOH)n+, where n = 1 4, gave assignments to vOH (assigned using DFT calculations).392... [Pg.326]

The mean quadratic deviations of pressure and vapor concentration came to A pj p = 3.33% and Ay = 1.23% by use of the new parameters. This is in line with the quality normally achieved with UNIFAC adjustments. Thus, the group assignment listed in Table 2 seems to be a useful extension to the UNIFAC group assignment. [Pg.20]

Wu and Siesler have assigned additional secondary amide bands in their study of the aliphatic polymer polyamide 11 (PAll). Using deuteration, variable temperature, and polarization measurements, the assignments listed in Table 8.6 were made. [Pg.97]

IR bands due to Pp6 LiPp6 solutions in ethylene carbonate-based mixed solvent systems gave evidence for ion-pair formation and significant anion-solvent interaction." IR and Raman spectra of PBr4+ and Pl4 gave the assignments listed in Table... [Pg.213]

Vibrational assignments are shown in Table 22 for IF2(0)0CH3. IR and Raman spectra for (21) gave the assignments listed in Table 23, together with a feature at 121 cm ascribed to vF -O from a weak intermolecular F -O interaction. ... [Pg.219]

IR and Raman spectra of HgX2tU2, where X = C1, Br or I, tu = A, iV-dimethylthioformamide, gave the assignments listed in Table 22. The temperature-dependent Raman spectrum of Cs2HgBr4 gave evidence for a transition between commensurate and incommensurate phases. [Pg.299]

Only the chemical shift of the chiral phosphorus is listed. In some of the original references reporting the chemical shift, the absolute configuration was not assigned. The assignments listed are based on some later reports which are not cited. [Pg.186]
