Analyzers monitoring

The FDA also introduces the concept of process analytical technology (PAT). PAT refers to systems that are used to analyze, monitor, and control manufacturing processes on a continuous basis. The quality attributes and specifications of raw materials, in-process intermediates, and processes are measured in real time and compared with predetermined parameters so that deviations can be rectified in a proactive nature to assure that the end products conform to the level of quality as expected. It is believed that a system based on PAT being implemented in a real-time manner would improve manufacturing efficiency and simultaneously retain or improve the product quality through these interactive measurements and controls. 

PAT is used to analyze, monitor, and control manufacturing processes on a continuous real-time basis. This process means predetermined characteristics are checked and deviations, if any, are corrected promptly such that product quality is maintained. 

This apparatus was used to generate known concentrations of Benzene. Separate determinations for each data point were performed. Agreement between the analyzed monitors and the known concentration was excellent with low standard deviation.

Hungr and Locat (in prep) provide a compilation and review of common landslide types from across Canada. Bobrowsky et al. (in prep) provide a review of the various methods and techniques commonly used to investigate, analyze, monitor and treat landslides in Canada and elsewhere.
