Analysis of lymphocyte subsets after transplantation or autologous rescue

The WBC in patients after intensive therapy remains 2 x 10 /ml for at least seven days after transplant or autologous rescue. Lymphocyte recovery can be assessed from day -i-l after therapy (Protocol 1). Since T cells are the major component of the lymphocyte population, the statistical regions for identifying some subsets such as activated T cells (CD25 ) by dual fluorescence may require adjustment to ensure that only those ceUs which are positive for both antigens are assessed.
