If the problem is restricted to two dimensions (for a projection of the structure), calculations are practicable, or, better still, can be avoided altogether by using the optical analogue method (Lipson and Taylor, 1951, 1958) moreover, for a flat molecule the transform need only be obtained for the plane of the molecule. The effect of tilting the molecule with respect to the projection plane so that it is foreshortened in a particular direction is simply to lengthen the transform in that direction.

The frequency required to observe a particular nucleus is the first consideration. This frequency was formerly synthesised by analogue methods. Frequencies below 200 MHz... 

Labeled-Analogue Methods, In a typical one-step RIA for FT4, endogenous free hormone and a I-labeledT4 analogue compete for solid-phase antibody binding sites in the presence of serum protein the amount of labeled analogue bound by the specific antibody is inversely related to the amount of FT, in the specimen. Table 4 show that the hydrogeology analogue method has limited, can just be used for the approximate calculation. 

Therefore, in order to satisfy the accuracy and having the hydrogeology detailed material may use the numerical method to predict water inflow in mines. When lacking enough research area materials, may use the numerical method to predict water inflow by simulation, and simultaneously use the analytic method as comparison. The newly-built mine, when the hydrogeology parameter is insufficient, may use the hydrogeology analogue method to predict. 

A completely different way to obtain a solution of equations (1.A5) to (1.4.8) consists in the use of analogue methods. For completeness we give two possibilities where reactions and electrode resistance can be taken into account.

Even to simulate electrode shape change in ECM, conducting paper analogue methods are described [ 71 ], but the growing power and availability of digital computers makes these methods less competitive. 

The aim is to establish a quantitative analysis method applicable to IPNs. A spectrum can be synthesised by using an analogue method to sum a series of functions representing individual peaks in order to produce a final function that closely represents the experimental spectrum.
