Adhesion and Molecular Mobility of Filled Polymers

There is thus a correlation between the adhesion strength of the filled polymer material and the molecular mobility of the polymer matrix. Taking into accormt that changes in the character of the relaxation processes reflect changes occurring in the polymer material structure with introduction of modified filler, we now consider the polymer structure, and in particular the structure of polymer layer formed in contact with metal substrate surface. [Pg.289]

The experimental data and their explanation necessitate investigation of the dependence of adhesion and of the molecular mobility of polymer filled with modified filler on the linear dimensions of modifier molecules chemisorbed on the surface of the filler. [Pg.283]
