No model is considered to exist where the work required to adapt an existing model exceeds that needed to develop a new one. 

Choice of an appropriate reference electrode remains an enigma for non-corrosion-aware personnel-although commercially available polarisation-resistance probes can be adapted. An interesting aspect concerns localised corrosion in that, for some materials, localised corrosion only occurs within characteristic potential ranges. 

Adaptability an internal mechanism to alter behavior and/or rules. 

It is now necessary to discuss in more detail the performance criteria one can use to evaluate different methods and to describe the validation of different analytical procedures so that you can decide whether or not a given method will fulfil your own particular requirements. In many cases, there will be no method which is entirely suitable for your purpose. In such cases, it will be necessary to adapt an existing method. Before use, such an amended method will need to be validated to ensure that the modifications introduced do not produce erroneous results (see Section 4.6). 

These few remarks highlight that quantum-chemical methods have adapted an important role in medicinal chemistry. It is the intention of the present volume to document this role in adequate detail. Accordingly, the book is divided into three main sections. The first section is dedicated to density functional theory. 

Design of Experimental Set-up. In performing electrochemical measurements at cryogenic temperatures, two different approaches can be chosen Either to adapt an electrochemical cell to a commercially available cryostat or to adapt a cooling system to an optimized electrochemical cell.

An industrial ecologist s tasks are to interpret and adapt an understanding of the natural system and apply it to the design of man-made systems, in order to achieve a pattern of industrialization that is not only more efficient, but also intrinsically adjusted to the tolerances and characteristics of the natural system. A Tenney environmental test chamber (Model TSU-100) was used as an air bath. Temperature can be controlled to 0.1 °C. by adapting an Aminco bimetallic thermoregulator connected to a supersensitive relay. Samples were prepared in the form of rectangular strips. First, moduli were measured as a function of temperature. At least five minutes was given to each temperature increment ( 5°C.) to obtain thermal equilibrium.

Another advantage of automatic devices, and a very important one when many strips have to be evaluated, is the possibility of adapting an integrator to the reading mechanism. It supposes the dropping of theoretical vertical lines for isolation of fractions. 

Incorporation of games into your classroom need not be difficult. One of the easiest methods is to adapt an existing exercise in your curriculum into a game.
