ACS journals and magazines

The ACS permission policy and forms for ACS journals and magazines are available at http //pubs.acs.org/copyright info.html and for ACS books, at http //pubs.acs.org/books/forms.shtml. An interactive form can be found at http //pubs.acs.org/cgi-bin/display-copyright bichaw. 

Permission requests to reproduce materials from the books, journals, and magazines of the ACS Publications Division should be directed to the ACS Copyright Office. All permission requests must be in writing. The ACS Copyright Office accepts permission requests via e-mail, mail, and fax. Permission is granted only by fax or by mail, so it is important to include a fax number.

If an author has already submitted or intends to submit a paper to an ACS journal, magazine, or book, and you want to reprint material from that paper, direct your permission requests to the Copyright Office of the ACS Publications Division. Such requests should also mention the title of the publication in which the work will appear. 

Full bibliographic reference information (name of ACS journal, book, or magazine, issue date, volume number, issue number, page numbers if an ACS book, give the book editor s name(s), the chapter author s name(s), the series tide and number, year of publication, and pages) ... 

The American Chemical Society maintains the chemistry.org website at http // chemistry.org/portal/Chemistry. One can access Chemical Abstracts (CAS) from this site. The site lists meetings and publications and includes a careers and jobs site and an online store. American Chemical Society (ACS) publications at http // pubs.acs.org provides its members information products and services. Currently, over 30 magazines and peer-reviewed journals are published or co-published by the Publications Division.
