All this stems from a constant increase of the active age of employees as required by the European Union, from the efforts of individual countries to stabilize their pension systems, and from the need of organizations to compensate for the lack of a young labour force. The increase of the retirement age is causing the aging of the labour force this very much affects the area of OHS in which the increasing age factor is included in the emerging risks from the point of view of their influence on a certain group of employees. [Pg.113]
