In the research field of Ziegler-Natta catalysts, ca. 600 articles have been contributed to the main journals and ca. 1700 patents have been applied for in Japan alone during the period from 1988 to June 1993. Figure 1 shows the classification of the studies, which have been contributed since 1982, into the titanium catalyst.
