Zero discharge desalination

Zero discharge desalination (ZDD) ZDD is based on electrodialysis metathesis (EDM). EDM stacks utilise the same types of anion and cation-exchange membranes as conventional ED stacks, but there are four membranes and solution compartments in the repeating unit of an EDM stack. [Pg.380]
