Electrically Amplified Writing

In this chapter we describe modifications of chemically stable materials to achieve sensitive archival storage media. The following sensitizing approaches will be discussed incorporation of a gas component into the atomic network in bound form, texturing of the media surface, and electrically amplified writing.
