Working visas

You re qualified to do a chemist s job in the drug industry if you earned at least a baccalaureate degree in chemistry. But before you get a job or even an invitation to interview, you need to show your credentials to suitable employers and to know what they seek. What you must know and show is the subject of Chapter 7, which presents the common prerequisites that employed chemists meet and the various qualifications that B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. scientists offer. The chapter also discusses permanent residency and working visas as well as the important role played by the American Chemical Society in helping chemists find jobs.
